At any given moment in time there are more soccer-moms congregated in Target stores than any other location on the planet. Which is all the more reason why Target should take my advice on how to improve their stores.
Follow this scenario for a moment, you walk into Target with your child and you pull yourself out a cart. Your kid doesn’t want to get into the cart, so you’re struggling to get their legs through the holes in the cart and the belt snapped around their waist. All the while, other customers are coming into the store behind you.
But there’s no where for you to go, so in addition to you blocking everyone else from getting a cart, you’ve also got people walking up your ass to get to all the fancy products for sale. It’s a completely unappealing situation that I’m sure every parent would appreciate doing without.
My Solution: A Parent Lane. Target should have a separate lane of carts, with space at the end so parents can easily and safely put their children into their shopping carts. It wouldn’t cost Target much and they could probably get a quite a bit of advertising mileage out of it.
